Fire Department

Message from the Fire Chief

Our most important asset is the dedicated group of committed and highly trained individuals who make up our department.

We hope you will join our “team” by educating yourself and your family to be as fire safety conscious as possible.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Town Council, community groups, residents of the Town and especially all our Firefighters, past and present for their service and support over the past years.

Fire Chief, Wayne Giles

Fire Prevention

Fire Prevention Education is one of the most rewarding programs you could participate in, whether you are a child, parent, teacher or firefighter.

Knowing what to do, attending these programs could save your life or the life of someone near and dear.

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) estimates that approximately 80 percent of all fire deaths in the United States and Canada occur in the home. Roughly 11 people per day, die in home fires in the U.S and Canada.
